Whenever I have the option to go Vegan for a dessert or side dish, I’ll always take it! I do incorporate meat into many of my meals, but I completely avoid dairy, and limit eggs use in dessert as much as possible. If you’re looking to lower your cholesterol levels, Vegan desserts are a great option as eggs are very high in cholesterol and can easily be replaced. With options like Chia and Flax Eggs, there’s no reason not to! On this page you’ll find all of my recipes that are either Vegan or have a Vegan Friendly option!
6 Ingredients, 5 Minutes, and 1 Step… Pico de Gallo has seriously never been so simple! You can get all the ingredients to make this fresh homemade Pico at any grocery store, and the entire recipe costs less than $5 to make! The flavor is refreshing yet traditional, and you can totally taste the difference making it from scratch vs. store bought.
If you’re eating a Paleo or Vegan diet, serve it up with a side of Siete Tortilla Chips, or if you’re eating a Whole30 diet, this would make a great topping for vegetables or a protein!
If there's one thing I HATE in the kitchen more than anything, it's wasting food. Whether it be leftover produce, a meal in the refrigerator, or even the remaining seeds from making stuffed Acorn squash, it kills me to throw food away. Since it's the time of year where we all love using squash in recipes and carving jack-o-lanterns, this is just a friendly reminder that those seeds are a perfectly delicious snack just waiting to be roasted up! All you need are some Seeds, Olive Oil, & Salt!
Sometimes the best recipes are a result of no planning at all and this was definitely one of those times! We happened to have 7 extra apples on hand so I decided to pair them with some of my favorite Whole30 Friendly toppings and bake them until they were soft and tender. VOILA! Just like that I have a new favorite Fall snack! This Autumn Apple Crumble came together so quickly, and is the perfect way to use up all of those apples that apple picking season are bound to bring in! It's also Vegan as well as Gluten, Soy, & Dairy Free!
I love going through the fridge on a Sunday Morning and seeing what produce I have left from the prior week. It let’s me get creative and toss together a quick recipe that I may not necessarily have made otherwise. This week, I had 2 extra Pears and a small amount of Walnuts at the bottom of the bag and these Baked Cinnamon Pears were the result!
They’re a Fall festive healthy snack that I’ll definitely be making again soon! The Pears become so soft and juicy, allowing for easy removal of the skin, so there’s no need to peel them prior to putting them in the oven! These took less than 5 minutes to throw together, and the hardest part was waiting for them to cool once they were cooked! Sort through your produce drawer and get creative with your leftovers this week or skip the creativity and whip up these baked cinnamon pears! You’ll be so happy you did!
Every morning after my run, the one thing I look forward to more than anything is my Collagen Peptide Smoothie. It refuels my body, taste delicious, and gives me a chance to do my morning scroll! Everybody loves a Strawberry Banana Smoothie, but making them at home can be discouraging if you don’t know the right ratios, ultimately ending up with a watery smoothie. The key to getting the perfect consistency is freezing your fruit overnight, so be sure to prep ahead if you plan on making this in the morning! It’s naturally sweetened to perfection, but the flavor can be further enhanced with the addition of some freeze dried strawberries!
Dates, Chocolate, and Tacos are incredible on their own, but when you pair them all together, Date Choco-Tacos are born! This superfood filled snack can cure your sweet tooth without any of the guilt! The sweetness from the Dates balances out the 100% Cacao perfectly, and the Go Raw Cookie Crisps add such a nice crunch on top! I’m a chocolate lover so I always use their “Choco Crunch” Cookie Crisps, but try using “Ginger Snap” or “Lemon Pie” to add another element of flavor! You could also make these using any nut butter, but I prefer Cashew Butter as it tends to be less oily and stays in the date much better. I’ve got to be honest, it’s easy to over indulge in these delicious treats, so only make as many as you plan on eating in one sitting!
Finally! A customizable snack recipe that works for any diet! Pictured is a batch of Whole30 Friendly ‘Cashew Cherry Pie Energy Bites’ I whipped up, but these B.Y.O.B.’s can be altered to fit literally anyone’s dietary restrictions. If you’re Vegan, skip the Collagen. If you eat a Nut Free Diet, use a Seed Butter. I can’t think of a way these bites couldn’t be altered to work for you! I used a blend of Dates, Dried Unsweetened Cherries, Cashew Butter, Mixed Seeds, & Collagen Peptides rolled in Coconut Flakes to create my bites, but I totally encourage you to come up with your own blend.
Trade in the Cherries for Apples with a dash of Cinnamon and you’ve got Apple Pie Bites! Use Dried Pineapple & Coconut Flakes to create Pina Colada Bites! Using GoRaw ’s “Simply Lime Snacking Seeds” with a bit of Lime Zest could instantly transform these into Key Lime Pie Bites! I could keep going all day… I’ve also included a list of Ingredients that will allow you to customize your bites even further! Adding some Cacao Nibs & Mint Extract would turn these into Mint Chocolate Chip Bites, or you could add some Pumpkin Pie spice for a festive Fall twist, the options are truly endless!
This one is for all of my Mint Chocolate Chip Lovers! It’s officially Day 1 of the #SeptemberWhole30 and I’m kicking it off with a Smoothie recipe that I sip on at least 3-4 times a week! I’ve posted this recipe once before, but I’m reposting to stress how important it is to freeze the your produce first to ensure a creamy, flavorful Smoothie! I’ve made Smoothies using room temperature or refrigerated fruit in the past, but I always had to add ice to get a smoothie consistency which totally diluted the flavor. By freezing the fruit & veggies first, you don’t have to add any ice whatsoever, giving you the most flavorful Smoothie possible!
I prepare my “Smoothie Packs” in advance for the week so I can just pop them out of the freezer and blend when I’m ready to go! It only takes about 5 minutes of prep and makes for a super quick and nutritious breakfast. Just freeze your Spinach and Banana in a small ziploc bag together overnight, add all of your other ingredients to the blender in the morning, pop in one of your Smoothie Packs and blend!
This past week has had me extra motivated to use up the last of the sweets in the house, knowing the #SeptemberWhole30 is almost here! I’ve gotten rid of almost everything, but I had a little remaining Coconut Sugar and decided to whip these Sugar Cookie Kitties up! I just so happened to have a Hello Kitty Cookie Cutter on hand, but feel free to make these into any shape you’d like! I cut a few calories and skipped the Icing, but you could totally mix together some Coconut Cream with a little Maple Syrup to give these Hello Kitties a perfect white coat! I used Raisins for her Bow and melted Hu Kitchen Gems for the whiskers & eyes to keep the toppings Paleo compliant. I even zested a lemon for her little nose! The best part is, these cookies are completely Dairy, Soy, Gluten, & Refined Sugar Free!
Sweet..Salty..CrUncHy..CHOCOLATEY! If that got your attention, then you are going to LOVE these Chocolate Chunk Trail Mix Bars that I have been OBSESSED with! My boyfriend and I have each eaten 2 a day for the past month, and honestly don’t know how we’re going to cope without them when we start our #SeptemberWhole30 next week. This will be my last batch for a month so give them a go ASAP and let their legacy live on! I’ve used Almonds in the past, but found they were tougher to bite through and hurt some peoples teeth, so I switched completely to Cashews & Pecans to ensure these Bars will cure your sweet tooth and not crack it🦷
I’ve also incorporated Go Raw’s Mixed Seeds which are not only super healthy, but they’re also pre-salted, giving you the perfect amount of sea salt to balance out the sweetness! You could use Figs or Dates (cut up fine) in place of the Raisins, but I found the Raisins added the perfect amount of sweet and were the least amount of work! I’ve also used Hu Kitchen’s Crunchy Mint Bar instead of the Chocolate Gems in a pinch which completely switched up the flavor in itself! There’s SO MANY variations possible for these bars, so give them a try and see what you come up with!
Potato Salad is one of my favorite Summer foods, but it tends to get pretty fattening after adding the mayonnaise, bacon, eggs, etc. This Super Simple Potato Salad ditches all those ingredients but still packs a lot of punch!🥊 The potatoes absorb the red wine vinaigrette so nicely, each bite had its own little burst of flavor! I made this last week as a side dish to go with my Turk-ini Lasagna,, but you could totally just mix a protein in and have it as a meal! My boyfriend Jimmy typically doesn’t like potato salads and he couldn’t get enough of this one! Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we did!

I’ve been making these for a while using regular eggs, but recently I’ve made them completely Vegan by using Chia Eggs! Not only does it provide you with a dose of chia seeds in each muffin, but it also removes all of the extra cholesterol that regular eggs typically add! These muffins are Paleo, Vegan, Gluten Free, & 100% Delicious! They’re super easy and make a great addition to breakfast, lunch, or as a night time snack!

These were SUPER EASY to make and can have anyone feeling like a professional chocolatier with just a few simple ingredients! I used Hu Gems to keep these tasty treats Paleo Compliant, and as a Crazy Cat Lover, I used these adorable paw print shaped molds to pay homage to my 6 kitties! Cashew Butter tends to be my go-to, but feel free to use any nut butter of your choice! You could also purchase store bought jelly if you’re not following a strict Paleo diet, but I highly encourage you to give homemade jelly a try!
Pizza Bagels may seem tasty, but they’re loaded with things like Gluten, Dairy, Soy, & even Added Sugar🤢These Paleo Plantain Pizza “Bagels” are free from all of those ingredients, yet still taste just as good, if not better! Plus, there’s only 3 main components and everything can be found at your local grocery store! Pair with a side of The New Primal’s Ranch Dressing and cure your munchies while staying healthy!
I’ll be in the kitchen all day today, so I whipped up this Garlic Cauliflower Hummus last night to give me something healthy to snack on while I cook! When I first started making this recipe, it was always for the beach, but now it’s became one of those things that we constantly have to have in the fridge! It has just the right amount of kick from the garlic, and the consistency of the tahini makes everything feel very smooth and creamy! I’ve also included the option to add a small russet potato in addition to the Cauliflower! It makes the hummus a bit heartier and feel more like a meal than a snack, but it’s totally up to you!
My boyfriend Jimmy likes his with Cassava Strips or Grain Free Tortilla Chips, but if you’re looking for an even healthier option, carrots are always my go-to🥕 This hummus can be stored in the fridge for 5-7 days and is a great healthy snack option to have on hand! It’s also Whole30 Friendly, Paleo, Gluten Free, & Vegan!
Prior to Quarantine, I was fortunate enough to be working Drag Brunch every weekend at different venues throughout the area! In addition to the great food and incredible audiences, I pretty much always had access to a Mimosa! I’ve tried quite a few variations and definitely had some incredible ones, but I think the recipe my boyfriend Jimmy Boone put together is at the top of the list! It’s tropical and fruity, yet still very light (and low calorie, 153cals each)! Infusing the Vodka with Pineapple first took away any bitterness to ensure you don’t “taste the alcohol” and the Orange Mango fruit juice he used added the PERFECT amount of sweetness to the Prosecco, making for one hell of a drink! I had 4 of these last night and can vouch that they are not only delicious, but VERY effective🤪
I can’t believe it’s Day 29 of the Whole30 already! One of my favorite new snacks I discovered while on this round of Whole30 was Chia Pudding! I was a little skeptical at first simply because I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s very similar in taste and texture to tapioca pudding, which I love! It also ends up feeling like a DIY Sundae Bar after you get through topping it with all your favorite toppings! In addition to all the heath benefits of Chia Seeds, this recipe is also Whole30 Friendly, Vegan, Gluten Free, & Free of any Added Sugar!
You can prep them up to a week in advance and have them ready to go for a quick breakfast, or keep them in a cooler for a beach day! Chia seeds can be found at just about any grocery store and are SUPER CHEAP on Amazon, so give them a try and let me know what you think!
If you’re missing out on Girl Scout Cookies this year, I’ve got the perfect fix for you! These 4 Ingredient Caramel Delight copycats are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Refined Sugar Free, and in my opinion, taste better than the real thing! I know recreations are frowned upon while on the Whole30, but all of the ingredients are Whole30 compliant and sometimes you just need a damn cookie!
In my opinion, the hardest part about making a Whole30 Pizza is figuring out the crust! Sure, you can use Potato Skins or slices of Sweet Potato as a base, but it just doesn’t have that same pizza crunch. Since recreating a baked good is a big no-no on the Whole30, I decided to get creative with this 4 ingredient pizza “crust”! The crust consist of just a cup of seeds and a bell pepper...THAT’S IT! To keep this pizza crust even more compliant, you don’t even bake it, you dehydrate it! Once the crust is dehydrated, all you have to do it top it with your favorite Whole30 toppings and enjoy!
My boyfriend Jimmy kept his pizza classic and topped it with Pesto Chicken, whereas I dragged mine up into a BBQ Chicken Bacon Pineapple Ranch Masterpiece! Let me know who’s pizza you think looks better and check out the recipe below!

Crazy Craft Cocktails are a lot fun, but they’re also A LOT of work and tend to require ingredients that you don’t always have on hand. I love a Margarita, but if you look at the ingredients of a store bought mix, you may notice they’re LOADED with High Fructose Corn Syrup and added sugars🤢 I’ve fallen in love with this Paleo Margarita recipe because not only is it super clean & ridiculously simple to get together, but the ingredients can pretty much be found ANYWHERE! This year I decided to have some family over for a Whole30 Friendly 4th of July and they were not disappointed when I brought out this Whole30/Vegan Cheesecake! I know it’s technically “illegal” on the Whole30 to recreate a dessert, but let’s be real, when you read these ingredients you’ll realize all you’re basically doing is putting a fruit and nut tray in Drag YASSQUEEN!
