Welcome to “Eat Clean Drag Queen!” For those of you who don’t know me, my name’s Astala Vista and I’m a Drag Entertainer, Crazy Cat Lady and co-owner of Drag Queen Entertainment! Entertaining an audience will always be my 1st love, but in recent years, I’ve started to acquire an all new love for health and fitness and I wanted to share my journey and recipes with you!

As someone who has been obese, weighing in at 243lbs in 2011, I know what a struggle losing weight is, and what an ever bigger struggle it is keeping it off! Being a Drag Queen has not only given me the confidence to slay a stage, but a reason to take care of myself and my body! Let’s be real, doing cartwheels and stunts in 6 inch heels is an extreme sport, and without taking care of your body, you’re going to break more than just a nail!

Most of the recipes you see on this page will be Paleo & Whole30 Friendly as I avoid Gluten, Dairy, Soy, & Refined Sugar in everything I cook. Maintaining a diet free from those things may sound intimidating at 1st, but you’ll quickly realize it can be a blast once you see some of my recipes! Get ready for some Deliciously Decadent Desserts, Boozy Cocktails, and Incredibly Tasty Meal Ideas, all with a healthy twist! Cheers to Clean Eating!🥂
